Services for Educators
Educators are being challenged more and more to meet the needs of children who are overexposed to computers, TV, and electronic game devices. Parents often believe they are helping children when they give them all the latest gadgets. They do not understand that unlike these educational toys, teachers must compete for children’s attention when they can not move as quickly, change color or reward children for every little trick they do. Our childrens' minds are being rewired by all the toys and they are not able to focus. Teachers have the hardest time helping children learn the basics. Marla will customize a workshop or series of workshops to help teachers support the children and families they serve.
